  1. Well, you had mentioned to not contact Mick about the game but let's check the current situation things are at. With the recent cluster fuck of the sound track mixing debacle with Doom Eternal's music and stuff, and his subsequent departure from iD Soft as their GO TO musician, i mean, we could see someone who could do an interview with him and sneak a question regarding Routine's situation and stuff

  2. I've been trying to dig up the mystery for a year now – contacting everyone who was involved, digging deep through their website and other media, trying desperately to get in contact with them. I'll keep searching until I find the answer, because I don't fully believe the story on Reddit. I'll find out what happened to ROUTINE, even if it takes my entire life searching.

  3. It's funny, because it sounds like the development of this game kind of became like the story line of the game that you mentioned in this video.

  4. It make me upset too… i just want to say WHERE IS THE FUCKING GAME???? IF U DONT WANT CREATE IT OR FOLLOW IT JUST SELL THE IDEA TO ANOTHER COMPANY… ANOTHER PEOPLE OR IDK…. JUST GIVE THE POSIBILITY TO ANOTHER CONTINUE THE JOB!!. YEAR 2020… NOBODY CHANGED IN THE WEBSITE….

  5. lol my friend and I just started working on a game set on the Moon with a similar plot (just to piss off the devs XD, and to hopefully give the waiting fans something). It's in a "1-bit" pixel art style tho, so we won't need 8 years.

  6. I had (or have) been following this game since the original alpha trailer was released in 2013. Despite the long hiatus in between developer updates, I stayed hopeful it would one day be released. This was THE game for me. I was ready to upgrade my PC at any time in hopes of playing this game to the fullest! It is now 2020 and I watch this video with only sadness and wonder at what could've been.

  7. It's almost January and still no update, I've been looking forward to this game too. This story is so strange haha

  8. Sci horror is criminally under looked this gen. There's been virtually none aside from some Indies and alien isolation which was amazing but of course there won't be a sequel because people would rather have the same carbon copy trash year in year out.

  9. I have a 2 theories. ALIEN Isolation and Routine are the same game. maybe they bought the game and repackaged it as Alien Isolation. They look early similar. Or they stop them or delayed the production of the game due to similarities.

  10. Oh I see the problem, they got TWO on art and design and just 1 programmer, no sound/music person, or anything else. hmm

  11. If you’re interested in the first contents of the website (or any website for that matter) in its original state, always try the web archive.

Here is the very first version of the LunarSoftware website that’s stored on the Web Archive (from 9 May 2012): https://web.archive.org/web/20120509152834/http://www.lunar-software.com/

    Enjoy!

  12. I've fallen out of love with Perma-death.

Brutal Check points are fine but Perma-death after a while just has me say "Oh, fuck it…" and I just never get back around to it.
